Eighth Annual Ohio Free Clinic Conference

The Eighth Annual Ohio Free Clinic Conference took place October 7-9, 2007 at the Embassy Suites in Dublin.  The conference provided an opportunity to learn, network and share with others who care about serving the uninsured.

2007 Conference Agenda

Mr. Tom Kelly, MHA, CMPE, was honored with the Champion of Free Clinics Award for 2007.  Mr. Kelly founded the East Side Health Clinic in 1979, one of the first free clinics anywhere, while he was attending graduate school at Duke University.  Tom now serves as the Administrator of The Cleveland Clinic Wooster.  In addition to his medical practice experience, Mr. Kelly has served as a hospital executive, health plan executive, IPA executive, and a corporate executive within an integrated delivery system.  Tom is a Board Member of Bryan/College Station Chamber of Commerce, Board Chairman for Junior Achievement of the Brazos Valley, and a member of the Children's Miracle Network of the Brazos Valley Allocation Committee. 

The Cleveland Clinic Wooster was awarded the 2007 Free Clinic Partnership Award.
